Attorney in Damascus case wants client charged as juvenile

David Felson, attorney for one of four 15-year-old Damascus high school students charged in an October reported rape case, is asking for his client to be tried in juvenile court. The four defendants were initially tried as juveniles but are now charged as adults. “He’s a 15-year-old, and it’s a matter of public record – has never been in any kind of trouble, has never been a disciplinary problem in any way, shape or form, and to be facing this type of circumstance is profound,” Felsen said of his client, Will Smith.
