Thefts from vehicles
Cash and property were taken from four vehicles on Connecticut Avenue, Grubb Road and Lanier Drive between Nov. 3 and 6. Forced entry occurred in two of the incidents.
Vehicle parts were taken from multiple vehicles on Chestnut Street, Arlington Road, East West Highway and Woodmont Avenue between Nov. 2 and 6. Forced entry was reported in one of the incidents.
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles on The Hills Plaza, Westbard Avenue, and Greenway and Malden drives between Nov. 2 and 7. Forced entry was reported in one of the incidents.
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles on Elmore Lane, Pyle Road, Lowell Place, Oakmont Avenue and Walton Road between Nov. 4 and 10. No forced entry was reported.
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles on Willow Gate Lane, Avenel Farm Drive, Rapley Ridge and Autumn Gate lanes, Pierce Point Court and Beman Woods Way between roughly 3:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 p.m. Nov. 8. No forced entry was reported.
Vehicle theft
A vehicle was stolen in the 9100 block of Willow Gate Lane between approximately 11 p.m. Nov. 7 and approximately 6 a.m. Nov. 8. The vehicle was reported to have been unlocked and the keys had been lost.
Aggravated assault
A man in his early 30s displayed a weapon and assaulted a male bus driver in the area of Woodmont Avenue and Montgomery Lane at approximately 10:36 p.m. Nov. 8.
Commercial burglaries
Property was taken from The Fields Apartments at 5079 Bradley Blvd. the morning of Nov. 10. Forced entry was reported. Police suspect a male in his early 30s.
Merchandise was taken from L.L. Bean at 925 Rose Ave. on the morning of Nov. 7. Forced entry was reported.
Rockville
Thefts from vehicles
Vehicle parts were taken from a vehicle in the 12900 block of Crookston Lane between approximately 8:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 7. Force was reported in the incident.
Property was taken from two vehicles between approximately 6:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at an undisclosed location. No force was reported.
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles in the 11600 block of Milbern Drive and the 8100 block of Whites Ford Way between approximately 9 p.m. Nov. 6 and 8 a.m. Nov. 7. Force was reported in one incident.
Property was taken from two vehicles at a residence in the 9400 block of Fox Hollow Drive between approximately 10 p.m. Nov. 3 and 11:45 a.m. Nov. 4. No force was reported.
Residential burglaries
Property was taken after a door had been left unlocked at a residence in the 8000 block of Gramercy Boulevard the morning of Nov. 10.
Cash, property and a vehicle were taken from a residence in the 8100 block of Jeb Stuart Road the morning of Nov. 4. Forced entry was not reported, and the vehicle was believed to have been left unlocked with the keys inside. Two male suspects were arrested. The pair were also involved in three other incidents of property and vehicle theft occurring in Rockville, Bethesda and Germantown.
Silver Spring
Thefts from vehicles
Property was taken from multiple vehicles on Ramsey, Georgia and Eastern avenues, East West Highway, and Kennett and 13th streets between Nov. 6 and 10. Force was reported in three of the incidents.
Cash and property were taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Spring Street between approximately 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 8. Force was reported.
Property was taken from three vehicles, one in the 400 block of Penwood Road and two in the 1000 block of Strout Street, between Nov. 7 and . Force was not reported.
Property was taken from four vehicles on Aquamarine Terrace, Olivine Way and Nora and Lodestone drives between approximately 8 p.m. Nov. 5 and 5:15 a.m. Nov. 6. Force was not reported in any of the incidents.
Property was taken from three vehicles, two in the 2400 block of Spencerville Road and one in the 13800 block of Castle Boulevard, between Nov. 4 and 10. Force was reported in two of the incidents.
Aggravated assault
Police suspect a 45-year-old man was involved in an aggravated assault that occurred in the 1200 block of East West Highway at approximately 9:51 a.m. Nov. 7. The suspect displayed a weapon.
Residential burglaries
Property was taken from a residence in the 1100 block of Noyes Drive between approximately 7 p.m. Nov. 3 and 8:50 a.m. Nov. 4. No signs of forced entry were reported.
Property was taken from a residence in the 9200 block of Glenville Road between approximately 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 7. No signs of forced entry were reported. A window was reported to have been left unlocked.
Property was taken from a residence in the 8700 block of Carroll Avenue between approximately 8 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. Nov. 6. Forced entry was reported.
Property was taken from a residence in the 900 block of Patton Drive between approximately 8:40 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. Nov. 9. Forced entry was reported.
Strong-arm robberies
Police suspect three men in their 20s committed a strong-arm robbery in the area of Dilston Road and Avenel Road at approximately 2:45 p.m. Nov. 10. Property was taken and one suspect assaulted the male victim.
Cash was taken from a man in the 13800 block of Outlet Drive at approximately 10:01 p.m. Nov. 6. The male suspects appeared to be in their 20s.
Armed robbery
Cash was taken from a man in the 14200 block of Ballinger Terrace at approximately 3:39 p.m. Nov. 10. Police suspect two males. One suspect displayed a weapon.
