Updated: Six People Injured in Friday Night Crash in Rockville

Four teenagers involved in collision

Updated at 3 p.m. Monday: Six people, including four teenagers, who were seriously injured in a Friday night crash in Rockville are expected to survive, Montgomery County Police said.

At approximately 7 p.m., a Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old female was traveling west on Norbeck Road when it collided with a Ford E-150 van making a left turn from Westbury Road onto Norbeck, according to  police.

The driver of the Focus, as well as four female passengers, all sustained “critical injuries,” police said. The three victims in the back seat were confirmed by police to be a 13-year-old and two 14-year-olds. The front-seat passenger is 19 years old.

The 44-year-old driver of the van sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
