Police use Instagram to find robbery suspect
Jerome Jeffries, a Hit Squad gang member who robbed two people in Wheaton in February, was found guilty by a jury on Wednesday. According to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, Jeffries was easily determined as the culprit after he posted his location on Instagram. [Fox 5]
State lawmakers question University of Maryland Board of Regents over death of football player
In a tense hearing Thursday afternoon, Maryland lawmakers sharply questioned officials from the University of Maryland about their actions following the death of 19-year-old football player Jordan McNair.
