A Silver Spring woman recently won a $2 million prize from a scratch off Lottery ticket.
The 54-year-old woman whose name was not released by Maryland Lottery purchased two $30 Mega Bucks scratch off tickets from Long Branch Beer & Wine in Silver Spring. The first was not a winner, but the second revealed the $2 million prize.
After a store clerk confirmed the woman had won the prize, the woman said she was stunned.
“I was shocked and relieved at the same time. I’m so happy that I can pay off my bills,” the woman, who works as a florist, said in a press release.
