Thefts from vehicles

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between June 28 and July 2 on Lanier Drive, Richland Place, 16th Street, and Ross and Lyttonsville roads. No forced entry was reported. Vehicle parts were taken.

Vehicle parts were taken from a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Edgemoor Lane between approximately 11 p.m. July 1 and 1 p.m. July 3. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle parts were taken from a vehicle parked in the 10300 block of Rockville Pike between approximately 2 p.m. July 3 and 11 a.m. July 4. No forced entry was reported.

Residential burglaries

Someone entered a residential garage through an unlocked door and took property in the 3200 block of Leland Street between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 29.

Someone entered a residential shed and stole property in the 5100 block of White Flint Drive between 3 p.m. June 16 and 5 p.m. July 3. There were no signs of forced entry.

Someone entered a residential garage through an unlocked door and took property in the 5500 block of Sonoma Road between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. June 27. There were no signs of forced entry.

Someone broke into a residence in the 9900 block of Logan Drive between 12:01 a.m. June 1 and noon  July 3. Nothing was taken.

Commercial robbery

Three people, ages unknown, stole medications from the CVS Pharmacy at 3715 University Boulevard West in Kensington in the early morning hours of July 1. The suspects stole medications.

Stolen cars

A vehicle was stolen from the 4700 block of Red Fox Road between 12 and 8:30 a.m. June 28. The means of entry into the vehicle is unknown.

A vehicle that was left unlocked with the key inside was stolen from the 4500 block of Cortland Road between 10 p.m. July 2 and 9:30 a.m. July 3.

Rockville

Attempted thefts from vehicles

Two attempted thefts from vehicles occurred between June 25 and June 27. One attempted theft occurred in the 400 block of Ridgemont Avenue and the other occurred in the 15900 block of Frederick Road. A 27-year-old Brentwood man was arrested for the attempted theft on Frederick Road.

Strong-arm robbery

A strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of Watkins Pond Boulevard and West Gude Drive at approximately 4:20 p.m. June 30. The suspects took property from a juvenile male victim.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between June 28 and July 4 on Ellsworth Drive, and Cameron, Fenton, Cedar and 16th streets. No forced entry was reported. Cash, property and vehicle parts were taken.

Residential burglary

Someone broke into a residence and took property in the 8100 block of Hartford Avenue between approximately 9:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. June 27.

Someone entered a residence through an unlocked door in the 8800 block of Garland Avenue at 1:13 a.m. July 5. Nothing was taken.

Someone broke into a residence in the 4300 block of Isleswood Terrace between approximately 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 26. Nothing was taken.

Armed robbery

An armed person assaulted a man and took his cash and property in the 8700 block of Gilbert Place at 11:44 p.m. July 4.

Two people who displayed weapons took a man’s property in the 13800 block of Outlet Drive at approximately 10:45 p.m. June 27.

Strong-arm robbery

Three males, ages unknown, assaulted a man and took his cash in the area of Colesville Road and Woodmoor Circle at approximately 5 a.m. July 1.

A man in his 20s assaulted a woman and took her property in the area of Margaret Drive and Ray Drive at approximately 4:45 p.m. July 4.

Attempted armed robbery

Four males assaulted a man and attempted to take his property in the 11300 block of Lockwood Drive at approximately 4:30 p.m. June 28. One displayed a weapon. One 22-year-old Waldorf man was arrested. The ages of the other three are unknown.
