Hogan remains quiet as Democrats battle for primary nomination

Republican Gov. Larry Hogan’s campaign strategy has him remaining out of the fray generated by the Democratic candidates fighting to replace him. Rather than engage the seven leading Democrats running for their party’s nomination, he has adopted two puppies and eliminated a fee for E-ZPass transponders as the beach season begins. Silver Spring gastroenterology group buys Rockville medical office

Capital Digestive Care LLC of Silver Spring has purchased a 100,000-square-foot medical complex in Rockville on Shady Grove Road where it plans to occupy half the space to merge its four existing offices in the county. About 20 physicians and 100 employees will work out of the new office, and several existing tenants such as an MRI center and an office for gynecologists and obstetricians will remain in the complex. Best times to cross the Bay bridge this Memorial Day weekend

Tens of thousands of drivers are expected to cross the Bay Bridge on their way to and back from the Eastern Shore this weekend to celebrate Memorial Day. The Maryland Transportation Authority has recommended that drivers aiming to avoid traffic cross the bridge after 10 p.m. Friday, before 7 a.m. or after 5 p.m. Saturday and before 10 a.m. or after 10 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
