Clover Restaurant Group and Chef Geoff Tracy team up
Chef Geoff Tracy has announced a partnership with Clover Restaurant Group and the new combined restaurant group is looking to announce a new eatery this year. The merger brings together two regional restaurant groups with businesses in Montgomery County: Chef Geoff’s Restaurant Group operates Lia’s in Chevy Chase as well as Chef Geoff’s restaurants in D.C. and Virginia, and Clover operates the four locations of Café Deluxe, including one in Bethesda, as well as Tortilla Coast in D.C.
The two groups will now form Chef Geoff’s Deluxe Hospitality, which will oversee all of their restaurants. Tracy and his brother, Chris Tracy, will head day-to-day operations while father-son team James and Brian Sullivan of Clover will focus on new growth.
Geoff Tracy told Eater DC, which first reported the news, that they are scouting out locations for a new restaurant, where the group plans to try something different.
