U.S. Marshals and New York City police believe a woman who is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of a 5-year-old boy could be in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County police are assisting in the investigation and issued a press release about the woman on Wednesday.

Phyllis Reinoso, 31, is wanted for questioning related to the death of the boy in New York City on Jan. 22, according to New York City police.

Police officers responding to a 911 call on 109th Ave. had found the boy unconscious and unresponsive that day. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The death was deemed a homicide.

Reinoso allegedly has spent time in Montgomery County since January and could still be in Maryland, according to county police.
