Theft at North Bethesda Middle School

Three adults were arrested on burglary charges at North Bethesda Middle School at 11:45 p.m. Feb. 3. A 20-year-old Potomac woman and two Bethesda men, ages 18 and 24, entered the 8935 Bradmoor Drive school. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was taken.

Thefts from vehicles

Cash and property were taken from four vehicles parked on Triple Crown Road, Keeneland Circle, Ancroft Court and Ambiance Drive between Jan. 30 and Feb. 6. No forced entry was reported.

Apartment burglary

Two male burglars, who appeared to be between 16 and 20 years old, broke into an apartment in the 8400 block of Fenton Street between 10 p.m. Jan 31 and 3 a.m. Feb. 1. They stole property.

Armed robbery at Smoothie King

A man displayed a weapon and assaulted a juvenile male employee at the Smoothie King at 8563 Fenton St. at 2:35 p.m. Feb. 3. He stole cash.

Thefts from vehicles

Cash and property were taken from four vehicles on East West Highway, Navarre Drive and Ross and Grubb roads. No forced entry was reported.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

A tablet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Maple Avenue during the night of Jan. 31. A purse with credit cards, cash and two identification cards was stolen from another car on the same block that night.

A suitcase containing jewelry was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road during the night of Feb. 2.

Assault

A man was in a store in the 1800 block of Rockville Pike when another man told him to move and then assaulted him. The second man then screamed at other customers and fled out of the store.

Attempted burglary

Someone drilled a door handle in an attempt to break into an apartment in the 200 block of North Washington Street between Feb. 2 and 3. The person or persons did not gain entry.
