A vehicle overturned on a Beltway ramp in Silver Spring on Friday morning, according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer.
The vehicle overturned before 6 a.m. on an inner loop ramp to southbound Georgia Avenue, Piringer wrote on Twitter. First responders evaluated one injured person and blocked several lanes. No other vehicles were involved, and Piringer did not note the extent of the person’s injuries.
On Thursday night, rescue crews responded to a vehicle fire on a northbound I-270 ramp to Montgomery Village Avenue in Gaithersburg, according to Piringer. The fire started before 10 p.m. and spread through the vehicle. Several lanes were blocked.
Piringer did not report any injuries in the vehicle fire.
