Montgomery County police believe the same man stole high-end frames for eyeglasses from a Friendship Heights store three separate times and could also be connected to similar thefts in Virginia.

Most recently, the man entered Ilori at 5330 Wisconsin Ave. at 1:25 p.m. Jan. 20, grabbed several high-priced frames and fled the store, according to police.

Police say the string of thefts began in June, with two other thefts at the luxury glasses store and others in Arlington, Virginia.

On Monday, police released surveillance photos of the man from the three Ilori thefts and asked anyone with information about him to call 240-773-6700. Callers can also leave an anonymous tip at 866-411-TIPS (8477) for a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
