Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker—Friday and Saturday—Strathmore, North Bethesda

For the 25th year in a row, the Moscow Ballet is touring North America once again performing its Great Russian Nutcracker. The production features huge puppets and nesting dolls, as well as hand-crafted costumes and work by Russian artists.

Tickets are $48 to $88. Shows are in the Music Center at 8 p.m. Friday and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday.

Action Bronson—Friday—The Fillmore, Silver Spring

Rapper Action Bronson, who is known for his mix tapes and his debut album Mr. Wonderful, will perform at The Fillmore after an opening performance by New York rapper Meyhem Lauren. Bronson, who has come under criticism for verses considered homophobic and sexist, has a food travel show on the Viceland channel.

Tickets are $29.50. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Soul Crackers—Saturday—Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club

An R&B band that’s performed in the Washington, D.C., area for more than 30 years, Soul Crackers comes to the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club. The nine-piece band is led by singer Tommy Lepson.

Tickets are $20 for the 8 p.m. show.

Holly TrolleyFest—Saturday—National Capital Trolley Museum, Silver Spring

The National Capital Trolley Museum’s Holly TrolleyFest will feature Santa riding on street cars and visiting children. There also will be toy trains on display and tours of the museum.

Tickets are $5 for children and $7 for adults. The event goes from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Christmas Unwrapped—Sunday—Seneca Valley High School, Germantown

Seneca Valley High School is hosting an interactive Christmas Eve program for people of all religious backgrounds. Complimentary beverages and treats will be provided.

The free event runs from 4 to 8 p.m.
