Hogan remains popular, new poll finds
About 62 percent of Maryland residents approve of the job Gov. Larry Hogan is doing, according to a new poll from Goucher University. The latest approval rating is a six-point increase from Goucher’s previous poll in February. The poll also found 71 percent of the state residents who were polled disapprove of President Donald Trump’s policies. [Baltimore Sun]
Raskin will seek re-election
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Takoma Park) announced at a political forum in Potomac on Saturday that he’ll seek re-election to his 8th District Congressional seat. Carroll Avenue bridge completed in Takoma Park
The state announced the completion of a $12 million rehabilitation project on the historic arch bridge Friday. Work on the bridge, which was built in 1932, began two years ago. More than 46,000 vehicles travel across the roadway per day, according to the state. [State Highway Administration]

A sunny high near 90 degrees is predicted for Monday, with a nighttime low dropping to around 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures in the 80s are predicted until Friday.
