Barbeque has finally arrived in Silver Spring with the opening of Lincoln’s Bar-B-Que at 931 Ellsworth Drive at the fountain in downtown Silver Spring. Serving lunch and dinner seven days and brunch on weekends, the 315-seat restaurant and bar has a menu of beef, chicken, pork and ribs, plus burgers, salads, appetizers and sides. All meats are smoked for hours in two large smokers. Designed to feel like a barbecue picnic, the restaurant features party lights strung from the ceiling and gingham checked flag decorations. Pig sculptures in all shapes and sizes are found throughout. A general store is stocked with more than 30 varieties of barbecue sauces, condiments and seasonings.
