Bethesda

Armed robbery on Hillandale Road

Four men, one of whom displayed a weapon, took a man’s cash and property in an armed robbery on the 6600 block of Hillandale Road at 10:10 p.m. Feb. 24.

Commercial burglary in Westfield Montgomery

Two men took property from the concierge desk in Westfield Montgomery mall in the early morning on Feb. 23. There were no signs of forced entry.

Residential burglary on Winterberry Place

A man broke into a home on the 7800 block of Winterberry Place between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28, but didn’t take anything.

A number of vehicles were broken into between Feb. 22 and 23 on Roosevelt and McKinley streets, Hazelwood and Rayland drives and Maple Ridge Road. Two cars were left unlocked, but the manner of entry in the other incidents is unknown. Cash and property were taken.

Chevy Chase

Residential burglary on Cumberland Avenue

A burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 27 at a residence in the 4800 block of Cumberland Avenue. Property was taken. The back door had been left unlocked.

Rockville

Aggravated assault on Dodie Drive

Three men assaulted a man in the early morning of Feb. 26. Police are seeking three suspects in their late 20s.

Residential burglary on Allenford Circle

A residential burglary occurred between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 23 and 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at the 9800 block of Allenford Circle. Entry was forced and property was taken.

Residential burglary on Maplecrast Lane

A residence on the 10800 block of Maplecrest Lane was broken into at 8:23 p.m. Feb. 26. Property was taken.

Residential burglary on Apricot Lane

Between 6:17 and 8:55 p.m. Feb. 23, a burglary occurred at a residence on the 15200 block of Apricot Lane. The sliding door had been left unlocked. Property was taken.

Silver Spring

Aggravated assault on Sligo Avenue

A suspect displayed a weapon and committed an aggravated assault at El Caracol Café at 609 Sligo Ave. at 8:03 p.m. Feb. 24. Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Hyattsville.

Armed robbery on Seminary Road

A suspect displayed a weapon and took a man’s cash and property in an armed robbery that occurred at 8:40 p.m. Feb. 26 in the 1900 block of Seminary Road. Police seek a suspect 20 to 25 years old.

Commercial burglary on 2nd Avenue

Property was taken from MIB Associates at 8609 2nd Ave. between 1 and 2 p.m. Feb. 22. There was no sign of forced entry.

Thefts from vehicles

Multiple vehicle thefts occurred on Wayne and Georgia avenues, Blair Road, and Bonifant, Fenton and Ripley streets between Feb. 22 and 26. Entry was forced in nine of the thefts and the manner of entry was not determined in the other incidents. Cash and property were taken.

Potomac

Commercial burglary at Scotland Neighborhood Recreation Center 

A man forced entry into the Scotland Neighborhood Recreation Center, a Montgomery County Recreation facility at 7700 Scotland Drive, in the early morning Feb. 25. Nothing was taken. Police later arrested a 36-year-old man from Baltimore.
