Bistro Sensations closes in Westfield Montgomery
Bistro Sensations, a food station that served sandwiches, wraps and salads, has closed its location in Westfield Montgomery mall. Christi Swanson, marketing director for the mall, said Bistro closed in the last three weeks as a result of a natural lease expiration. She said the early part of the year is a big time for turnover of mall eateries and new arrivals would be announced soon. The Store Reporter also reports that Chocolate Moonshine, which served desserts and gourmet fudge, has closed its seasonal shop.

With March Madness about to be underway, Owen’s Ordinary in Pike & Rose is offering $2 off all Maryland brews during NCAA basketball games. The special runs from March 16 to 19.
Cross-location discount at Lebanese Taverna

Customers who buy food from one of the Lebanese Taverna cafe locations in Silver Spring or Annapolis can bring their receipts to the Bethesda restaurant to get 25 to 30 percent off their orders. Karim Mouhin, assistant manager at the Bethesda location, said customers need to present their receipts within 10 days to get the discount.
Support for Adega

Since Adega Wine Cellars & Café closed unexpectedly and indefinitely in February, community members have left messages of support for the popular downtown Silver Spring restaurant. Signs left on the restaurant’s doors read “We love you & need you!” and “please re-open soon!” Commenters on Adega’s Facebook page also have actively expressed support for the restaurant and hope that it reopens.
