Mehran Firouz, who had been reported missing since Feb. 9, was found dead Sunday, according to county police.
His family found Firouz, a Potomac resident who was 46 years old, close to his Postoak Road home, police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks said Monday. Foul play is not suspected.
Firouz was reported missing earlier this month after he left his home on foot without telling his family members where he was going.
Montgomery county detectives are conducting the death investigation and medical examiners will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of his death, Starks said.
