Update, 11 a.m. – Montgomery County police announced Friday morning that Polan and her infant daughter have been located and are safe and unharmed.
Original story – Montgomery County police are seeking the public’s help to find a Silver Spring mother and her infant daughter who were reported missing by family members.
Police said Friday that Maduba Polan, 34, of the 2500 block of Spencer Road in Silver Spring, last contacted her family around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. She is believed to be with her 4-month-old daughter, Zoe Polan.
Police said Polan may be in a silver 2005 Dodge Caravan with the Maryland registration 6CE6816. Investigators described Maduba as 5-foot-2-inches tall and 130 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. Police and Polan’s family are concerned for the well-being of Polan and her daughter.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
