More than 125,000 early voters cast ballots in Maryland
Some of the 125,914 voters who cast votes Thursday faced long lines at polling places, but most reported smooth experiences, according to state and local officials. Artists save Rockville studio space after Washington ArtWorks bankruptcy
The landlord of the buildings at 12276 and 12280 Wilkins Ave., which formerly housed artists brought together by the ArtWorks before the organization went bankrupt earlier this year, chose a new arts group, Artists & Makers Studios, to manage the studio space and keep artists working at the buildings.
