UPDATED: County Police Searching for Man Suspected in Bethesda Car Break-Ins

Investigators believe Dwayne Keymist later used stolen credit cards in Gaithersburg and Prince George's County

Original story – Police are searching for a 31-year-old Washington, D.C., man who they suspect broke into several cars in Bethesda neighborhoods near the District line, stole credit cards and then later used them at stores in the region.

Police said Thursday they have a warrant for Dwayne Keymist, who has been charged with felony theft, fraud, identity theft and credit card offenses. Police believe Keymist broke into vehicles, many of them unlocked, along Massachusetts Avenue and River Road and in other southern Bethesda neighborhoods. He allegedly stole property and credit cards, which he used at a Target in Gaithersburg as well as at stores in Prince George’s County, according to police.
