A tractor trailer truck overturned Wednesday morning on the inner loop of I-495 at River Road after the driver lost control of the vehicle, according to Maryland State Police.
Police say the driver, Eddiberto Lopez, from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, may have swerved to avoid another vehicle, which caused the tractor trailer truck to overturn on the right shoulder. He was not injured in the incident, police said.
All ramps to River Road remain open, though the far right lane will remain closed while police investigate the crash. Police said three lanes of I-495 will be closed after rush hour for the removal of the tractor-trailer truck and ask motorists to avoid the area.
