Dunkin’ Donuts burglarized

Someone broke into the Dunkin’ Donuts at 4943 Elm St. and stole cash during the early morning hours of June 21.

Verizon mall kiosk burglarized

Merchandise was stolen from the Verizon kiosk at Westfield Montgomery mall in a break-in during the early morning hours of June 21.

Potomac

Police make arrest in related residential burglaries

Police arrested a 19-year-old Potomac man in two residential burglaries that officers believe are related. In the first incident, property was taken from a residence in the 9900 block of Hall Road between June 10 and 13. In the second, the man was arrested after taking property from a residence in the 10000 block of Hall Road between 8:15 and 10:45 p.m. June 15.

Rockville

Elderly man arrested in armed assault

Police arrested an 87-year-old Rockville man after he allegedly displayed a weapon and assaulted a man in the 200 block of Meadow Hall Drive around 9 p.m. June 17.

Laptop bags stolen

Rockville police reported that two people walked into a business in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike and one placed two laptop bags into a shopping bag around 2:20 p.m. June 17. The pair fled the store without paying. Police described one suspect as a black man about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, and with auburn cornrows. The other suspect was described as a black woman about 5 feet 5 inches tall and with auburn cornrows and braids.

Residential burglary on Cartina Terrace

Property was taken from a home in the 58000 block of Cartina Terrace between 11 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. June 21. Police did not report finding signs of forced entry.

North Potomac

Residential break-in on Welland Terrace

Someone broke into a home in the 1400 block of Welland Terrace around 1 p.m. June 20, but nothing was reported stolen.

Downtown Silver Spring

Armed robbery on 13th Street

A woman reported being robbed by two men in the 8000 block of 13th Street around 9:20 p.m. June 16. One of the men displayed a weapon and took property from the woman. Police did not provide detailed suspect descriptions.

Residential burglary on 13th Street

Someone broke into a residence in the 8000 block of 13th Street during the early morning hours of June 15, but nothing was reported stolen.

Break-in at law offices

Someone broke into The Law Offices of Jay S. Marks at 863 Bonifant St. between 6 and 10:30 p.m. June 19, but nothing was reported stolen.
