The Max Brenner Chocolate Bar on Bethesda Row has closed.

Signs on the front doors of the Woodmont Avenue storefront announced the closure Tuesday morning.

The fast-casual style chocolate and dessert eatery opened in June 2013. It was the Israeli-based concept’s first sweets-only location in the U.S. It has since opened another of its Chocolate Bar concepts in Paramus, New Jersey, and operates full-service restaurants in New York City, Philadelphia and Boston.

Bethesda-based real estate firm Streetsense began marketing the 2,152-square-foot space in March, according to blogger Robert Dyer.
