Guerci reelected to school board

Eric Guerci, a junior at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, was elected to a second term as the student member of the Montgomery County Board of Education. He received 54 percent of the student vote to beat Alexander Abrosimov, a Richard Montgomery High School sophomore, who received 46 percent of the vote. [MCPS]

Man shot in Wheaton

County police found a 27-year-old man shot in the 12100 block of Centerhill Street around 9:30 Wednesday night. He was transported to a hospital in serious condition and police are searching for a suspect. [Montgomery County police]
