Montgomery, D.C. consider $15 minimum wage
Montgomery County Council member Marc Elrich said a council bill is drafted that would raise the county’s minimum wage to $15 by 2020. Mayor Muriel Bowser is considering submitting similar legislation to the D.C. Council. [WAMU]

Barve calls out Raskin for ad claims
Kumar Barve criticized fellow General Assembly member Jamie Raskin for airing ads labeling Raskin as “the only” progressive in the race to fill Chris Van Hollen’s seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Cost of constructing Purple Line may be closer to $2.65 billion
