Someone broke into a residence in the 7800 block of Custer Road sometime between 6:20 and 7:14 p.m., but nothing was reported stolen.
Residential burglary on Broad Street
Property was taken from a residence in the 10000 block of Broad Street sometime between 6 and 9:30 p.m. Police did not find signs of forced entry.
Residential burglary on Greenway Drive
Someone broke into a residence in the 4900 block of Greenway Drive between 6 and 8:40 p.m. March 12 and took property.
Residential burglary on Aldershot Drive
Someone broke into a residence in the 9200 block of Aldershot Drive sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 10 and took property.
Potomac
Old Angler’s Inn break-in
Nothing was reported stolen after someone broke into the Old Angler’s Inn restaurant at 10801 MacArthur Blvd. sometime between 2 and 9:43 a.m. March 12.
Rockville
Armed robbery on bike path near Veirs Mill Road
A woman reported that two male teens—estimated to be 16 and 18 years old—pulled a knife on her and stole her wallet as she was walking on the bike path near the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road around noon March 7, according to Rockville police.
Driver disappears with backpack, laptop
A man told police he received a ride from a car service between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. The man told the driver to stop at a retail store before continuing to the final destination, which the driver did. The man exited the car, went into the store and when he returned, the driver was gone. The man told police he had left a backpack containing textbooks and a laptop inside the vehicle. Rockville police did not name the car service.
Stolen hoverboard recovered by police
Two boys reportedly knocked another boy off of a hoverboard on Maryland Avenue around 8:40 p.m. March 12. The two boys then stole the board and fled. Someone saw the boys hide the hoverboard behind a tree near the Rockville Metro Station and police were able to recover it and return it to its owner. Police described one of the suspects as Asian, about 15 years old and wearing all black and a black ski mask. The other suspect was described as black, about 15 years old, with a dark skin tone who was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, according to Rockville police.
Unknown man enters East Argyle Street apartment
A resident of an apartment in the 200 block of East Argyle Street reported that an unknown man entered an unlocked apartment just after 3 a.m. March 9, stood in the doorway holding a key and spoke a few words of Spanish before the resident chased the man away and called Rockville police. Break-in at recreational facility, work gloves stolen
Someone broke into a recreational facility in the 600 block of Edmonston Drive overnight March 10 and unsuccessfully attempted to break into a locked closet. A bag of work gloves was reported stolen, according to Rockville police.
Residential burglary on Potomac Oaks Drive
Someone took property from a residence in the 11100 block of Potomac Oaks Drive around 7:45 p.m. March 9.

Police arrest man suspected in three bank robberies
Prince George’s County police on March 11 arrested a man suspected of robbing three Kensington banks in 15 minutes. Police released more details about the case that were included in a Bethesda Beat story published earlier this month.

Residential burglary on Jones Bridge Road
Forced entry was made into a residence in the 3900 block of Jones Bridge Road and property was taken between 10:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. March 9.
Downtown Silver Spring
Police arrest woman and man in two different indecent exposure incidents
In the first incident, police arrested a 30-year-old man around 5:40 p.m. March 11 after the man reportedly exposed himself to someone in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue.
In the second incident, police arrested a 28-year-old Hyattsville woman for indecent exposure near the intersection of Fenwick Lane and Second Avenue around 5:35 a.m. March 13.
