Montgomery County’s third ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen will open March 18 in Downtown Silver Spring, the restaurant chain announced Thursday.
The fast casual restaurant, which is owned by Chipotle, serves up a mix of noodle, rice and salad bowls that are served with a customers’ choice of meat, vegetables and Asian sauces.
The Silver Spring location at 935 Ellsworth Drive is filling the former FrozenYo space near the busy corner of Ellsworth Drive and Georgia Avenue.
“We look forward to bringing the bold flavors of Thailand and Vietnam to the exciting, growing community of Downtown Silver Spring,” Tim Wildin, a ShopHouse spokesman, said in a statement.
The restaurant also has nearby locations at Bethesda Row and Pike & Rose in North Bethesda.
