Police Blotter: Flower Shop Break-In; Delivery Package Stolen From Front Door

Thefts from vehicles

County police reported “multiple thefts from vehicles” between Feb. 1 and 7 on Hampden Lane and Northfield, Radnor and Oldchester roads. Police said property was taken from the vehicles but there was “no force,” indicating the vehicles were unlocked.

Home burglary in Alta Vista neighborhood

County police say a home in the 9200 block of Cypress Avenue was broken into between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 8. Cash and other property were stolen, police said.

Rockville

Flower shop burglarized

Someone broke into Palace Florists in the Randolph Hills Shopping Center at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 3 and stole cash from the shop, county police said.

Package stolen from Fallsgrove apartment

City of Rockville police said the complainant reported an unknown suspect stole a delivery package containing a laptop  from the front door of an apartment in the 300 block of Fallsgrove Drive. The incident happened either late Jan. 29 or early Jan. 30.

TV stolen from Rockville Pike business

City of Rockville police said three suspects stole a television from an unspecified business in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike. The incident happened between 3:36 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Feb. 5 and police described the three suspects as two black men and one black woman.

Home burglary near Congressional Plaza

County police said there was no forced entry but property was taken during a Feb. 9 burglary of a home in the 100 block of Martha Court. The incident happened between 12 and 6 a.m.

Silver Spring

Thefts from cars in county parking garage

County police said property was taken from cars parked in the Spring Cameron garage at 8700 Cameron St. The thefts happened on either Feb. 5 or 6.
