Purple Line still in line for federal funding with newly proposed budget

President Obama’s transit budget released Wednesday includes $125 million for the Purple Line in the fiscal year that begins Oct. 1. The federal government is expected to contribute a total of $900 million to the 16-mile light-rail. [Washington Post]
