Loo-cy, the motorized toilet snow plow that captured the attention of thousands of Internet video viewers last year, has received an upgrade.
David Goldberg, the co-owner of Union Hardware in Bethesda, installed a shower head that can sprinkle salt as the vehicle pushed snow along the sidewalk outside the Wisconsin Avenue business.
In a video posted to YouTube, Goldberg demonstrates how the plow’s new shower head with a 12-inch diameter works:
Goldberg built the electric motorized toilet in 2014 for the Capital Pride Parade in Washington, D.C, and added the plow last year. The video of Goldberg plowing snow from in front of his business last February racked up more than 180,000 views on YouTube.
