Property and cash were taken from vehicles that showed signs of forced entry on Allan Road and River roads, Westpath Way and North Park Avenue between Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.

Residential burglary on Connecticut Avenue
Property was taken from a residence in the 7300 block of Connecticut Ave. sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 5. There were no signs of forced entry.
Thefts from vehicles
Items were taken from vehicles parked on Leonard Drive, Stanford Street, and Porter, Grubb and Ross roads between Dec. 28 and Jan. 2 near the border between Chevy Chase and Silver Spring. No signs of forced entry reported.

Commercial burglary at herbal clinic
Someone broke into and took property from Dae Ruk Herbal Clinic at 11780 Parklawn Drive sometime overnight between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
Rockville
Shared Uber ride turns into assault
A man reported he was sharing an Uber vehicle with two other men who engaged in an argument with him around 3 a.m. When the vehicle stopped near the intersection of Seth Place and Charles Street, the man exited the vehicle and the two other men did as well. At that point the two men assaulted the other man. Police did not provide a detailed suspect description.
Burglary on College Parkway
Several items of jewelry were reported stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of College Parkway sometime between Dec. 20 and 27. (Rockville police)

A man reported he was assaulted by someone in the 200 block of Redland Blvd. around 11:30 p.m. Dec. 30. (Rockville police)
Assault on Shady Grove Road
A person reported being assaulted by an intoxicated man at a business in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road around 1:45 a.m. Jan. 1. Police described the suspect as a black male with a medium build who weighed about 150 pounds, was 5 feet 9 inches tall and has brown eyes and black dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket and a cast on his right hand. (Rockville police)

Someone broke into a residence in the 500 block of Meadow Hall Dr. between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 31 and took property.
Burglary on Calvin Lane
A television and laptop were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Calvin Lane during the evening of Jan. 3. Entry was gained by unknown means. (Rockville police)
Robbery on Elmcroft Boulevard
Three men assaulted another man and stole his wallet in the 600 block of Elmcroft Boulevard between 5 and 7 p.m. Jan. 2. Police did not provide detailed suspect descriptions.

A man in his 20s assaulted another man and forcibly took his watch near the intersection of Silver Spring and Georgia avenues around 4:10 a.m. Dec. 27.

Someone broke into Commercial Interiors at 929 Bonifant St. and took property sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4.
