County firefighters responding to a report of a fire Tuesday morning at a condominium complex in downtown Bethesda discovered a burning ceiling fan on the fourth floor, according to fire department spokesman Pete Piringer.
Piringer said the small blaze was quickly extinguished around 10:35 a.m. and that all occupants of the building at 4806 Montgomery Lane were able to get out safely. The fire was contained to insulation in the attic and around the ceiling fan, Piringer reported.
The emergency response has resulted in the closure of some roads near the structure while firefighters worked at the scene.
