Two people were injured Wednesday morning when a car and an SUV collided near the entrance to the Shriver Aquatic Center in North Bethesda.
The collision happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Marinelli Road and Executive Boulevard, according to Montgomery County fire department spokesman Pete Piringer.
Piringer said one adult suffered serious, but nonlife-threatening, injuries in the collision. A second adult suffered moderate, nonlife-threatening injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital.
Firefighters at the scene had to extricate one of the adults from the car, according to a video Piringer posted to Twitter from the scene.
