Updated at 10:20 a.m. – Montgomery County police are looking for a missing 17-year-old Bethesda teen who may be in danger of harming himself.
Tejin Thomas,of the 5200 block of Belvoir Drive, left his home around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night in an Uber car, police said Monday. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue pants and was carrying a duffel bag.
Police said Thomas left messages containing suicidal statements before he left. Police described the teen as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 125 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair.
Investigators are attempting to locate the Uber driver who transported him last night. Police said the teen’s family is concerned for his safety and that the family hasn’t heard from him since he left. Police did not release a photo of the teen.
