New Year’s Eve Events in the Bethesda Area

These restaurants and venues are hosting New Year's Eve parties

4935 Bar & Kitchen — 4935 Cordell Ave., Bethesda

The restaurant and nightclub’s celebration includes a Great Gatsby-themed party with lingerie models and a five-star buffet. Tickets are $25 at the door including one drink ticket and $45 in advance including two drink tickets and the buffet.

Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club — 7719 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda

Doc Scantlin and his Imperial Palms Orchestra headline the club’s New Year’s Eve party, which will also include a four-course dinner and a midnight champagne toast. The 15-piece big band will start performing at 9 p.m., but doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person.

Bethesda North Marriott — 5701 Marinelli Road, North Bethesda

The hotel is hosting Bollywood star Kanika Kapoor for an Indian New Year’s Eve gala with tickets starting at $125.

Brickside Food & Drink — 4866 Cordell Ave., Bethesda

There will be no cover charge for Brickside’s New Year’s Eve bash and a free buffet starting at 9 p.m.

Caddies on Cordell — 4922 Cordell Ave., Bethesda

The popular sports bar will have a DJ from 9 p.m. to close, drink and food specials and no cover charge.

City Perch — 11830 Grand Park Ave., North Bethesda

The Pike & Rose restaurant will offer a five-course New Year’s Eve tasting menu with choices of wild mushroom soup, pan-seared scallops, filet mignon and butter poached lobster tail. The tasting menu will cost $75 per person and wine flights are available for $35.

Denizens Brewing Co. — 1115 East West Highway, Silver Spring

The brewery will have four dinner seatings for a six-course meal with special beer pairings in its lower taproom and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets are $100 per person.

DoubleTree by Hilton Bethesda — 8120 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda

The downtown Bethesda hotel is going with a Roaring Twenties theme for its fourth annual New Year’s Eve party, complete with a “prohibition gaming room.” The party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with an open bar, food stations, live music, a DJ and midnight champagne toast. Tickets are $99 per person if purchased by Christmas and $129 per person if purchased after Christmas.

Jackie’s — 8081 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring

Jackie’s is offering a four-course fixed menu for $65 and seven-course tasting menu for $85, with menus available for those who email the restaurant directly.

Lebanese Taverna — 7141 Arlington Road, Bethesda

For $75 per person, the Bethesda Row restaurant is offering endless small dishes, dancing a champagne toast and belly dancing.

Mussel Bar and Grille — 7262 Woodmont Ave., Bethesda

Mussel Bar will feature live music from the band Doppio starting at 9:30 p.m. and food specials on oysters, beef wellington and smoked lobster tail.

Society Restaurant and Lounge — 8229 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring

The party at the Silver Spring venue runs from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. and will include two DJs, giveaways and a midnight champagne toast. Tickets start at $22 per person.

Timpano’s Restaurant — 12021 Rockville Pike, Rockville

Timpano’s will have live music from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. with no cover charge.

Union Jack’s Bethesda — 4915 St. Elmo Ave., Bethesda

Tickets are on sale for $20 for the Woodmont Triangle bar’s New Year 2016 Countdown Extravaganza. It will run from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., a DJ and dancing throughout and a midnight champagne toast. Attendees must be 21 and over.

Villain & Saint — 7141 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda

The Bethesda music venue will celebrate its first New Year’s Eve with a 21 and over show featuring bands Ten Feet Tall and On the Bus (a Grateful Dead tribute group). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. with tickets ranging from $100 to $150.
