Government facilities will be closed and the 33rd Annual Turkey Chase will cause lane closures in Bethesda

The 33rd Annual Turkey Chase will cause lane closures on major Bethesda roads on Thanksgiving morning.

Turkey Chase: The 10-kilometer race starts at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and is expected to last until about 10 a.m. Expect lane closures on southbound Rockville Pike and Wisconsin Avenue south of Pooks Hill Road and northbound Old Georgetown Road from downtown Bethesda to the race’s finish line at the YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase.

County liquor stores: Closed

Recreation: All programs and facilities are closed.
