Police Blotter: River Road Church Burglarized; Two-Break-ins on Seven Locks Road

River Road church burglarized

Someone took property and cash from the Saint Mark Orthodox Church at 7124 River Road sometime between the night of Nov. 2 and the afternoon of Nov. 3.

Two break-ins on Seven Locks Road

Two burglaries were reported at homes on Seven Locks Road. In the first incident, someone broke into a home in the 9200 block of the road and took property sometime between Oct. 11 and Nov. 6. In the second, someone broke into a home in the 9000 block of the road between Nov. 2 and 3, but nothing was reported stolen.

Rockville

Residential burglary on Dowgate Court

Property was taken from a residence in the 5500 block of Dowgate Court sometime between 9:30 a.m. and noon Nov. 6. Police did not find signs of forced entry.

Items were taken from vehicles parked on Grandin Avenue and Agnew Crawford drives during the early morning hours of Nov. 5. No signs of forced entry reported.

Thefts from vehicles

Property and cash were taken from vehicles parked on Brentford and Oaklglen drives between Nov. 7 and 8. No signs of forced entry reported.

Downtown Silver Spring

Robbery on East West Highway

A man approached another man, displayed a weapon and took the other man’s wallet and cell phone in the 1100 block of East West Highway around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 6. Police did not provide a detailed suspect description.

Residential burglary on 13th Street

Someone broke into a residence in the 8000 block of 13th Street and took property during the early morning hours of Nov. 4.
