Food Network Star Giada De Laurentiis to Appear in Bethesda

The celebrity chef and cookbook author will be signing copies of her latest book

Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis is scheduled to appear at Williams-Sonoma on Bethesda Row Saturday to sign copies of her latest cookbook, Happy Cooking.

The chef and host of Giada at Home and Everyday Italian will be at the housewares store starting at 3 p.m.

De Laurentiis, 45, began her career as a pastry chef after studying at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She then worked at Los Angeles restaurants including Wolfgang Puck’s flagship Spago. Her first show, Everday Italian, launched in 2003 and since then she has been a major part of the Food Network, appearing on a variety of shows including Weekend Getaways, Iron Chef America, and Giada in Paradise, and as a judge on The Next Food Network Star. The bubbly chef also makes regular appearances on NBC’s Today Show.

Tickets to the event are $37 and include a copy of Happy Cooking
