Capitol Area Storytelling Festival
Nov. 13-14
The inaugural festival kicks off Friday night with a storytelling variety show and continues Saturday with a morning program for children and families. Saturday afternoon events are suitable for all ages, while evening events are meant for mature audiences. Featured storytellers include ABC News correspondent John Donvan and professional storyteller, performer and writer Anne Thomas. Saturday events include a story swap and a slam storytelling competition with cash prizes.
