Police Blotter: Arrest Made in Bethesda Break-In; Three Burglaries Reported in Chevy Chase

The following incidents were reported to Montgomery County police from Oct. 12 to 20

Bethesda

Arrest made in break-in on Wilson Lane

Police arrested a 27-year-old Poolesville man after he allegedly broke into a home in the 5100 block of Wilson Lane around 3:45 p.m. Oct. 20. Nothing was reported stolen.

Three forced entry break-ins in Chevy Chase

Three homes  were broken into in mid-October. The first break-in happened Oct. 14 in the 3900 block of Aspen Street  and property was taken from the home.

The other two break-ins occurred Oct. 20 on Blackthorn Street. One occurred in the 3800 block and property was taken between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The other break-in occurred between 8:45 a.m. and 8:25 p.m. in the 4100 block. In that incident, nothing was reported stolen.

Someone broke into a residence in the 10900 block of Schuylkill Road around 4 a.m. Oct. 18. Nothing was reported stolen.

Potomac

Break-in on Falls Road

An early morning forced entry break-in was reported Oct. 15 at the Potomac Medical Arts Center at 9800 Falls Road. Nothing was reported stolen.

Rockville

Residential burglary on Wapello Way

Cash was taken from a residence in the 15600 block of Wapello Way sometime between Oct. 15 and 18. There were no signs of forced entry.

Residential burglary on Traville Gateway Drive

Property was taken from a residence in the 9600 block of Traville Gateway Drive between 1:10 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 14. There were no signs of forced entry.

North Potomac

Thefts from vehicles

Property was taken from two vehicles parked on Saddle River and Paramus drives between Oct. 13 and 14.

Downtown Silver Spring

Residential burglary on Sligo Avenue

Someone broke into a residence in the 700 block of Sligo Avenue sometime overnight Oct. 12 and took property.

Residential burglary on Thayer Avenue

Property was taken from a residence in the 500 block of Thayer Avenue between 5:45 and 7:30 p.m.  Oct. 16. Police found signs of forced entry.
