An Ohio-based company that sells mesh screens to keep leaves out of gutters thinks it knows the best places in America “to settle down.”
It also says Bethesda is one of them.
LeafFilter Gutter Protection gathered stats from city-data.com to determine the top 20 places in the country to settle down. The company didn’t say exactly what it thinks makes a town a great place to settle down (it would presumably involve spotless gutters) but did say population, median household income and median house or condominium value were part of the equation.
Bethesda came in at No. 11 on the list. Its median household income of $149,932 and median house or condominium value of $827,400 were, unsurprisingly, the highest of any town on the list.
LeafFilter said Bethesda “is the perfect little urban area,” with plenty of job opportunities and “tons of festivals and community events” that are “the perfect way to get involved and meet other residents.”
Bethesda was the only Maryland town on the list. The top town on the list was Winder, Georgia, which has a population of 14,679 and is located about an hour outside of Atlanta.
