Poll finds Elijah Cummings on top in Maryland Senate race

A Washington Post-University of Maryland poll found Rep. Elijah Cummings on top in a hypothetical three-way Democratic U.S. Senate primary with Rep. Donna Edwards and Rep. Chris Van Hollen. Cummings, the longtime representative from Baltimore, is thought to be weighing a run. [Washington Post]

Early voting scuffle will continue next week

The State Board of Elections Thursday didn’t approve early voting sites proposed by the Montgomery County Board of Elections, meaning the county board must meet again Monday before going back to Annapolis next Friday. [WTOP]
