Williams-Sonoma is planning to open its new Bethesda Row store Friday.
The 10,000-square foot store will include the company’s signature lineup of cookware and kitchen supplies as well as locally made items from Gordy’s Pickle Jar and Dear Cocoa Chocolate, according to a press release.
The company partnered with Georgetown Cupcake and will be giving out free cupcakes all weekend to shoppers. Customers who spend over $25 will also get a Williams-Sonoma tote bag, while supplies last, according to the company.
Like the company’s other locations, the Bethesda Row Williams-Sonoma will host cooking classes on Sunday mornings.
The store’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The kitchen store replaces two restaurants—Tara Thai and Parker’s—which closed in March on Bethesda Avenue.
