A fitness studio promising intense total-body workouts in 50 minute sessions is making its way to Bethesda.
Solidcore, the chain that opened its first location in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C., in 2013, will open a location at the Wildwood Shopping Center this fall.
The studio uses Megaformer exercise machines for workouts focused on building and toning muscle.
Under owner and “chief motivational officer” Anne Mahlum, the chain has grown to four locations in D.C., three in Virginia and one in Minneapolis. The Bethesda studio will be the chain’s first in Maryland.
The Bethesda studio is looking for coaches as it completes work on its 2,300-square-foot space, which is expected to be open in November.
