A new Italian restaurant, Italian Kitchen, appears to be closer to opening at the corner of Fenton Street and Silver Spring Avenue in Silver Spring. The space has a “now hiring” sign posted outside and its interior looks like it’s nearing completion. The business applied June 18 for a liquor license, according to the Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control records. The restaurant’s website is currently password only, except for the job application page.
