Two burglaries on Battery Lane
Police believe two burglaries on Battery Lane are related. The first occurred between June 1 and June 7 in the 5000 block of Battery Lane, and nothing was reported stolen. Property was taken in the second incident, which happened between 9:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. June 8 in the 4000 block of Battery Lane. Two men between the ages of 35 and 40 are suspected in the burglaries.
Another break-in at Woods Academy
Two men are suspected of breaking into the Woods Academy at 6801 Greentree Road around 11 a.m. June 8. Nothing was taken in the incident. This is the second time in the past month the school has had a break-in. Property was taken from the school after someone broke in sometime overnight May 17.
Residential burglary on Singleton Drive
Someone broke into a residence in the 9000 block of Singleton Drive and took property sometime between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 5.
Chevy Chase
Robbery on Ross Road
Two men reportedly assaulted someone and took property from that person in the 2000 block of Ross Road around 12:50 a.m. June 3.
Residential burglary on Pinehurst Parkway
Property was taken from a residence in the 7000 block of Pinehurst Parkway on June 4. Police found signs of forced entry.
Residential burglary on Daniel Road
Someone broke into a residence in the 2000 block of Daniel Road and took property sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. June 9. Police said two 24-year-old males are suspected in the burglary, which may be related to the June 4 burglary of a Pinehurst Parkway residence.

Residential burglary on Spruell Drive
Property was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Spruell Drive during the early morning hours of June 7.

Pizza Palace burglarized
Someone took property from the Pizza Palace at 410 Lincoln St. sometime between 11:30 p.m. June 6 and 11 a.m. June 7.
Burglary on Moore Drive
Someone broke into a residence in the 100 block of Moore Drive and took property sometime in the early morning hours of June 1.

Multiple thefts from vehicles
A 17-year-old boy is suspected of taking property from unlocked vehicles in a parking lot at 13500 Hayworth Drive around 6:30 p.m. June 2.
