Hillary Clinton attended a fundraiser Monday night at the Bethesda home of Susan Ness and Larry Schneider that drew about 120 people, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Clinton reportedly spoke at the fundraiser, but few details about what else happened or how much money she raised were immediately available Tuesday morning. Tickets to the fundraiser cost $2,700. The Sun reported the visit was the latest evidence of the state’s important role in helping finance Democratic presidential campaigns.

Ness is a former Federal Communications Commission employee who was appointed to the agency in 1994 by President Bill Clinton. Her husband, Larry Schneider, is an attorney at the Washington, D.C., law firm Arnold & Porter. A message left Tuesday morning with Schneider wasn’t immediately returned.

Hillary Clinton officially launched her presidential bid in mid-April. She’s scheduled to make the first major speech of her campaign June 13, according to her campaign website. Clinton supporters in Bethesda are invited to a “Hillary for America Official Launch Watch Party” on June 13 at a supporter’s house on Duvall Drive in Bethesda to watch the speech.
