Bethesda Row Boutique to Close

Ginger Boutique announced it plans to close its women's clothing store on July 15

After seven years in business at Bethesda Row, Ginger Boutique announced it plans to close its fashion and accessories store on July 15.

The store announced the closure on its Facebook page Monday.

“We are especially grateful for the amazing friendships we have developed with our customers throughout our time here… Thank you again for your business. It has been a pleasure!” Gretchen Hitchner, the store’s owner, wrote in the Facebook post.

In recent months, a number of other fashion stores have opened or announced plans to open at the Bethesda retail center including Kate Spade, Kit and Ace, Kendra Scott and Calypso St. Barth.

Ginger plans to offer 30 percent off all clothing and accessories as part of a closing sale.
