Weekend Events: Bethesda Fine Arts Festival, Lilly Pulitzer Anniversary Party

Wood Acres JogFest – 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Wood Acres Park, 5850 Wynnwood Road, Bethesda

The annual 5K race through the Wood Acres and Springfield neighborhoods will help raise money for the Wood Acres Elementary School PTA. The event also includes 1-mile, half-mile and quarter-mile fun runs.

Bethesda Fine Arts Festival – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Woodmont Triangle, Bethesda (Auburn and Norfolk avenues)

More than 130 artists from around the country will descend on Woodmont Triangle to show and sell a wide variety of pieces. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.

Lilly Pulitzer Bethesda Area Anniversary Party – 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Westfield Montgomery mall, 7101 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda

The Lilly Pullitzer store at Westfield Montgomery mall will celebrate its one-year anniversary with exclusive promotions and free giveaways to the first 50 shoppers.

Kentlands Home & Garden Tour – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 485 Tschiffely Square Road, Gaithersburg

The “New Urbanism” community in Gaithersburg is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a tour of 10 homes and gardens. A vendor fair and live music will accompany the event and home renovation experts will provide tips to home design and landscaping questions. The event costs $25.

Movies on the Potomac – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, National Harbor Plaza, 165 Waterfront St., National Harbor

It’s the first night of National Harbor’s summer Sunday night movie series. Sunday’s movie will be Big Hero 6. A jumbo screen will be set up on the plaza for the free event; bring your own chairs and popcorn.
